Kake is located on the Northern portion of Kuprenof Island in Southeast Alaska.  The Specific NOAA chart that is used to navigate the Kake area is:

As a point of reference:
Angoon is directly above us on Admiralty Island, Sitka is to the left on Baranof Island.  Chatham Strait is the large body of water that goes from open Ocean all the way up to Juneau.  Fredrick Sound wraps around the top of Kuprenof Island and towards Petersburg.
